FIND A JOB

CareerOneStop is an informative resource for people wanting to enter the job market, improve their education and marketable skills, learn to write résumés, gather information about career options, and much more.

You will also want to check job openings through the Employ Florida Marketplace. Local career centers are found around the country, including Florida.

The Florida section of the National H.I.R.E. Network includes valuable links to Florida employment resources for ex-offenders: how to get a copy of your rap sheet, state licensing requirements, PRIDE's labor line for ex-offenders, DOC work release, low cost legal assistance, and organizations that help ex-offenders become gainfully employed.   There are also links for bonding ex-offenders, and obtaining federal tax credits for hiring ex-offenders.

If you have challenges that impede your job search (disability, age, criminal record, etc.), try searching online through Hard2Hire (H2H).  Set up a free account and they will email you when jobs are posted in your area and category.
