Resources & Information

FreeRein Services

Florida state inmates do not have internet access, but through word of mouth have learned about our services and contact us in increasing numbers.  Simple requests are provided for the cost of return postage (at least one fresh postage stamp).  Requests seeking information about transition and reentry are not charged a fee unless significant costs are required.  Extensive research or related services (e.g., typing, webpages, etc.) will be quoted a reasonable fee.

FreeRein does not provide legal or medical advice, will not hook up inmates with pen-pals, and will not track down people or provide personal information about others.

FreeRein strictly abides by Department of Corrections procedures, the Florida Administrative Code, and state and federal statutes.   Questionable requests will be refused at our discretion.

FreeRein also provides information services to inmate families, ex-offenders, and others who work toward reducing recidivism in our state.  Inquiries welcome.
